The Wicklow Heather Restaurant, a family run establishment offers a blend of traditional Irish and continental cuisine. Enjoy breakfast, morning coffee, a light snack, lunch or dinner. There is a wide choice of tasty vegetarian dishes, as well as curries, tandooris and biryianis with splendid naan breads and delicious sauces.The dessert menu is much more varied than the usual Indian restaurant menu and there is a nicelist of wines which areselected to complement the Indian food.

The restaurant can accommodate up to fifty diners, and is wheelchair accessible. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and families are welcome. At Bates we use seasonal, local and artisan produced ingredients whenever possible, and pride ourselves in offering real food for real prices.

Located at the famous Jack White's Cross on the N11 - the name comes from the infamous character who was known to land and import goods illegally. Jack Whites unique character and atmosphere is full of history and tradition. Our pub features warm welcoming fires and cosy snugs and a very good restaurant.

Seasonal menus offered include a well-priced all-day Sunday lunch and an evening à la carte menu, with fish the speciality in summer, and game in winter. Blackboard specials guaranteed to sharpen the appetite include the day’s seafood dishes, any special wine offers - and, perhaps, a special treat like suckling pig.

All food is cooked to order and breads, scones and tarts are freshly baked. When open for dinner at weekends, the menu is upgraded and combines modern Irish with Mediterranean style in a choice of more substantial dishes. A hearty lunch is served daily and when available includes an open crab salad on wholemeal bread.

This is an authentically Italian restaurant. The grigliata mista, a plate of grilled beef filet, lamb and Italian sausage is among the tasty dishes available. There are also blackboard specials, a good selection of pizza, and homemade dessert specials. The wine list is exclusively Italian and features some excellent wines, some by the glass.
